How You Will Make a Difference:

In this role, you will get to build and execute diverse marketing initiatives, spanning the entire marketing funnel from brand awareness to customer marketing. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to deliver on Marketplayz’s integrated marketing strategy through content creation (such as blogs, downloadable assets, video, infographics etc.), outreach and nurture programs, and strategic guerrilla marketing. The cherry on top: you’ll be joining as an early team member, meaning that you will be able to set the stage for how Marketplayz attracts and retains creators/influencers. Responsibilities:
  • Craft, and distribute diverse content across relevant acquisition channels including but not limited to the company blog, email, 3rd party publications, events, and organic social media.
  • Build strategic lead collection assets from landing pages to gated premium content.
  • Conceptualize and communicate campaign design needs with our design team; set deadlines and relay edits.
  • Ensure content is SEO optimized…while reinforcing our brand values.
  • Carefully monitor and measure marketing performance and optimize each initiative accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop essential sales collateral and reinforce the brand copy.
  • Research market trends and competition, identify opportunities, and collaborate with the Head of Marketing differentiated marketing strategies including testing new channels and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the gaming space, using that understanding to build compelling acquisition projects.

 

Requirements:
  • 4+ years in B2B SaaS or Marketing 
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on storytelling across different mediums
  • Understanding the art of concision and how to create successful microcopy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
  • Familiarity with sales, marketing, and project management software (i.e. Mailchimp, Sendgrid, Salesforce, Asana, Figma)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other campaign analysis tools
  • Bachelor or University Degree
